Maria recently graduated from the 8th Annual University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) Academy. Maria was one of approximately 25 high school scholar students selected (out of 200+ applicants) from around the U.S. to participate in the UPCI Academy. Maria will begin her studies at the University of Pittsburgh in September 2016.
