Freshman Kathryn Huth a Top 300 Broadcom MASTER

Saint Joseph High School Freshman Kathryn Huth has been selected as one of the Top 300 Broadcom MASTERS in the 2019 Broadcom MASTERS®, a program of Society for Science & the Public. This honor places Kathryn among a select group of 300 MASTERS Middle School Innovators in National STEM Competition. She was named from over 2,300 entrants throughout the United States.
Her project (“Solar Activity and Geomagnetism”) is a data analysis on the mass of a coronal mass ejection and any effect it might have on our geomagnetic atmosphere. Kathryn will compete in a few weeks for a spot in the Top 30 to travel to Washington, DC and a chance to compete in a four day STEM competition and win up to $100,000 in awards! Good luck Kathryn!
