Mrs. Kathleen Morrone
Welcome to the art and art history department at SJHS! I currently teach Introduction to Art, Drawing and Painting, Ceramics, Art History, and College Drawing. Art History and College Drawing are offered for college credit through LaRoche and Carlow University. I received my B.S. in Art Education at Pennsylvania State University, my M. Ed. in Art Education at Carlow University and a Masters in Education Administration K-12 through Duquesne University. I am not only a teacher but an artist. I have recently exhibited my work at The Gumberg Library at Duquesne University, Carlow University's art gallery, the Penn State New Kensington art gallery, the Zoller Gallery and the L. S. Hoffman Gallery in Pittsburgh. I won Honorable Mention in the Big Read Art Exhibition in 2020, I was selected as the cover artist for the 2014 Carlow University Graduate Colloquium and currently sit as the President of the Alle-Kiski Arts Consortium.
