Welcome to History and Macroeconomics

I joined SJHS in 1974. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh with a dual major in history and economics. I attended Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne Universities for graduate school. I have earned the following awards: National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow 1988-1991, Commonwealth Fellow for European History 1988, Commonwealth Fellow for American History 1990, Golden Apple Pittsburgh Diocese 2005, National History Day Teacher of Merit 2005, Gilder-Lehman/Yale University Fellow 2009, Founders Scholarship at Acton University 2011, Patricia Behring National History Day Outstanding Teacher in Pennsylvania 2015
