Congratulations Senior Sam Wygonik – Semi-finalist National Merit Scholar

Sam is a Semifinalist in the 67th National Merit Scholarship Program and has an opportunity to continue in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship competition. Sam took the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and met requirements to enter the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. Sam is among the 16,000 highest scoring participants of the approximately 1.5 million high school students that enter the program each year. Sam will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered this spring.
