I graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Business Management. After graduation, I spent ten years at Jones Lang LaSalle, a global commercial real estate company. Becoming one of the youngest vice presidents in the organization, I was responsible for the financial management of much of the western region of the United States. Having tackled and done well in the corporate world, I felt called to bring my experiences and knowledge to young adults and returned to Point Park University to obtain my secondary education teaching credential in English. I have been teaching for more than 10 years. I recently taught at North Catholic before finding a home at Saint Joseph High School.
