I’m Sally Ackerman, and I’m honored to serve as the Athletic Director at St. Joes. Although I officially accepted this role in May 2021, my journey with St. Joes began earlier. I was fortunate to serve as the girls' basketball coach from 2010 to 2018 and as a teacher in 2018. My time at this wonderful school has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to continue supporting our students and community through our athletic programs.
A bit about me: I was a multisport athlete throughout middle and high school, and my passion for basketball led me into coaching at an early age. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix.
The alignment of my passions for sports and education found a perfect match at Saint Joseph High School, where I have proudly been a part of the community. I look forward to engaging with students, parents, and staff throughout the year and seeing everyone at our athletic events.
