Freshman CJ Singleton Qualifies for PIAA in Track & Field

The Spartans defeated Monessen in WPIAL Round I action yesterday at Seton Hill University. This is the first time in SJHS history the baseball team will advance to WPIAL Round II play. The team will play Union on Monday, May 20. The time and location have yet to be determined.

Faculty member, Ms. Rosanne Pucciarelli, has been nominated by the National History Day program in Pennsylvania for the 2019 Hannah E. (Liz) MacGregor Teacher Award. One national winner will be announced at the NHD National Contest Awards Ceremony in June. Read more.

Five students received awards at the States National History Day Competition. One student will advance to national NHD competition in June. The group performance awarded 3rd place at states include: Alexandra Babilon ’20, Lauren Troiano ’20, Sarah Preston ’20, Veronica Guerrini ’20. Ethan Schroeder ’20 placed first in individual performance and will advance to nationals.
